Kids activities around September 21st

For Priyanshi,
I would say, she reads pretty well now. Yesterday, she learnt the new word - Applause. I feel she is growing big too fast. She helps me a lot with Shaurya. She would entertain him at the time of diaper change, dance in front of him to make him eat ( sometimes), make him quiet when Rajesh is sleeping nearby. But she would always want to pick him up, which drives the little one crazy. He screams, but still she would move around with him in her arms. The whole scene is very cute though.

For Shaurya,
He was looking very cute this morning in his loose funky jeans and lighted blue tshirt. He was kicking a balloon and playing with it for quite sometime. He wakes up a lot in the nights, may be because of teething..not sure still. We have his 1st year well check visit on 24th September, so will know more. He will start with regular milk soon. All of a sudden, he has started hating water and bath time has become very unpleasant compared to pleasant times as before.

Shaurya turned 1!!!

My little Shaurya turned 1 last wednesday and we kept a big party for him.
His party turned out to be fab. There was friends, collegues and neighbours...most of the people we know here. Ofcourse backhome family was missed a lot...but now we have learnt to live with it.
Next thing at his party was good food. The food was so wonderful..everyone praised it couple of times and still doing it. After food..next attraction was Mickey Mouse. Mickey came in at the time of cake cutting as a big SURPRIZE to the kids.Mickey made train with the kids, broke piniata for the kids and had pics with everyone there..
There were good games like couple musical chair, 4 corners, marble and spoon race, grouping game and there was 100% participation. So, it turned out to be good.
Finally, we all danced for sometime and party ended.
Also, there was blue, black or white dress code and most of the people were wearing it.
We had a prize for best coordinated dress family and it went to my senior lead.

Goody bags was princess and character lunch totes to all the kids above 2 years of age.

Thanks for reading about this event!!
